Greenskeepers - Melbourne CBD - Immediate Start

Extend Oz is looking to engage experienced Greenskeepers for an immediate start with an established and reputable company maintaining high-end sporting fields, golf courses, parks, and open spaces across Melbourne, Victoria. We offer premium hourly rates plus super.

Work is located throughout Melbourne in the inner east and surrounding suburbs. You must be able to travel to various sites daily, including locations such as Toorak, Camberwell, Kensington, St Kilda, and other metropolitan areas. Applicants should ideally live within 45 minutes of the CBD.

Greenskeeper Duties:

• Turf maintenance and presentation
• Mowing using ride-on, walk-behind, and cylinder mowers
• Sports turf and golf course maintenance
• Turf establishment, preparation, and laying
• Scarifying, aerating, and renovations
• Irrigation system checks and minor repairs
• Fertiliser application and turf nutrition programs
• Weed, pest, and disease identification and control
• Bunker maintenance and landscaping works
• Line marking and sporting field preparation where required
• Equipment and machinery maintenance
• Manual licence required to operate company vehicles and small trucks

Other Duties May Include:

• Mowing and edging
• Whipper snipping and brush cutting
• Garden and landscape maintenance
• Planting, mulching, and garden bed upkeep
• Emptying bins and general grounds cleaning
• Leaf blowing, raking, and site presentation
• Removal of green waste and landscape debris
• Manual handling and labouring tasks
• Irrigation repairs and maintenance
• General site housekeeping

Required:

• Previous Greenskeeping or Turf Management experience preferred
• White Card required
• Manual driver's licence essential
• Own transport preferred
• Relevant horticulture, turf management, or landscaping qualifications highly regarded
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying
