Position Title: Bottle Shop Manager 
Department: Bottle Shop 
Reports To: General Manager 

Objective: Oversee daily operations of the Bottle Shop, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. Focus on improving guest service, product quality, and implementing Hotel policies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administration: Assist in budgeting and forecasting, manage revenues and expenses, and ensure payroll and stock management accuracy. 
  • Guest Satisfaction: Maintain service quality, address guest feedback, and set goals for improving satisfaction. 
  • Leadership: Oversee daily operations, provide team guidance, conduct performance reviews, and uphold high ethical standards. 
  • Communication: Communicate business goals to staff, ensure effective information flow, and keep updated records. 
  • Product Knowledge: Manage cost control, wine list preparation, staff training, and supplier relations. 

Key Selection Criteria: 

  • Extensive experience in Bottle Shop/Cellar management, especially in remote areas. 
  • Strong financial, strategic management, and compliance skills. 
  • Excellent guest relations, communication, and staff management abilities. 
  • Knowledge of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. 
  • A current Forklift Licence
  • WA Approved Managers Licence
  • RSA Certified
  • Physically fit and conscience of OH&S standards
  • Extensive knowledge of liquor products.
  • Stock control experience, H&L POS exposure and familiarity with banner groups.
