Extend Oz is seeking to engage an experienced Bistro Manager to work full-time in one of the premier venues in Melbourne’s West.
As the Bistro Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a 250 seat bistro open for Lunches and Dinners, providing an exceptional experience to each customer and setting the standard for other staff members to adhere to. You will do so through proven hospitality nous and by nurturing a team culture that puts the customer at the heart of every interaction.
Promote and maintain a consistent and high-quality standard of customer service, in leading by example to achieve the desired customer engagement and experience expectations.
Manage floor and bar staff to ensure a service delivery that caters to an exceptional dining experience.
Drive an innovative and evolving approach to service focusing on attention to detail, quality, speed of service and compliance.
Ensure the bistro and lounge bar presentation is of the highest quality and standard.
Maintain a bistro that is compliant in all areas of hospitality provided.
Rostering of up to 40 staff members on floor, bar and reception.
Special event budgeting and organisation including Christmas, morning melodies, bus groups etc.
Marketing and promotions
Meeting and exceeding budgets
Knowledge of the Fork dining platform an advantage.
Training and development of team members
You must have all the relevant qualifications up-to-date, including:
Current Food Handling
Must be available for day, night and weekend shifts.
