Extend Oz is currently looking to engage an experienced Head Chef / Chef Manager to join an aged care facility based in Armidale NSW.
The Chef Manager is responsible to manage the catering and kitchen function, to ensure the highest quality food and service in accordance with dietary requirements for residents and within budgetary objectives.
Leadership and management of a team of Chefs/Cooks
Ensuring all rostering, resident records and menu systems are up to date
Management of all financial and budgetary control
The successful applicant will possess:
Qualified Chef with budgetary and financial management experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in managing and leading hospitality teams
Knowledge of NSW Food Safety accreditation procedures and standards
Current Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
Current clear national police check or willingness to obtain
