Extend Oz is currently looking to engage an experienced Cook / Food Coordinator to join a friendly Childcare Centre based in Melbourne CBD.
In this role, you will:
Work in partnership with families in meeting all children's dietary requirements
Provide healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for children
Maintain the environment in meeting Health Regulations
Co-ordinate the purchasing and ordering of supplies to reflect the menu; and
prepare meals for large groups of people
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
Previous Childcare/Age care experience highly regarded
Valid Working with Children check
Safe Food Handling - willing to obtain
Food Allergy - willing to obtain
Awareness Training - willing to obtain
Knowledge of safe practices working in a kitchen environment; and
Prior experience in cooking for groups of people (essential)
This role is a permanent part time position working 26 hours per week Monday-Friday and offering competitive rate depending on experience.
