Extend Oz are looking for a full time Assistant Manager to work for one of our clients based in Port Macquarie,NSW, helping to manage and run a Wholesale Nursery.
Our client is a nursery supply company, specialising in predominately substrates and trays, used from the propagating stage through to the finished pot.
The Role
The position on Assistant Manager is a new senior position within the business. You will be responsible for developing new clients for the nursery and business development of propagation materials and systems.
This position will require a thorough understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field of Horticulture.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new markets
Provide excellent customer service
Expand the regional customer base
Develop and maintain productive work relationships with associates, suppliers, growers, customers and related industry personnel
Ability to handle multiple projects
Travel to regional sites
Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
A proven background, in Horticulture / Agriculture is required.
A sound knowledge in propagation principles, media and moisture management is required.
