Extend Oz are looking to engage an experienced Head Chef, who is looking to take on a new challenge in a busy 120 seat coastal Bistro in North-West Tasmania. 

As Head Chef, you will have the opportunity to put your stamp and flare on the food for future growth and revenue.

In this role you will have the opportunity to;

• Use your creative ability throughout the menu development process 
• Lead a team to ensure a high quality of service and skill level
• Increase profitability through cost and stock control 
• Achieve work-life balance with a 38-40 hour week roster

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will need;
• Proven experience as Head Chef in a pub or large restaurant environment 
• An understanding of operational management, relating to stock control, cost management and ordering 
• A management style that breeds a positive culture 

Position is full time - Salary is negotiable
